FAQ for Small Groups
1. Can a small group do this study or is it just a book for individual reading?
Yes and Yes! Daughters of the King was written specifically for a small group Bible study. In fact, this was the first Bible study I wrote and led for the ladies of my home church in San Antonio, Texas. So, it would work well for a small group. In each chapter, I have sections of Scripture for the reader to look up. So, despite the study being a book, the material is interactive like a Bible study.
2. How do I use this material for a small group?
Form your group and have each group member purchase their own copy of the book.
The group leader would be responsible for gathering times and dates as well assigning group members to read a chapter each week. Ideally, your small group would meet once a week to discuss the chapter using the discussion questions.
If your small group is using Daughters of the King as its fall Bible study, I would love to hear from you! Send me your thoughts and questions and I”ll respond to your group as I can!
3. Is there a Leader’s Guide to go with the book and workbook?
Yes! Just because you aren’t familiar with this book doesn’t mean you can’t lead a small group through Daughters of the King. In fact, to make group leaders feel more comfortable, I prepared a Leader’s Discussion Guide complete with answers to all the discussion questions in the workbook. You can download the free Leader’s Guide here!
4. How do I print a copy of the workbook?
Once you download your workbook, you can print the individual pages of the PDF as you go.
If you are using the workbook for your small group or a women’s Bible study, then you might consider printing the workbook as a booklet. (Don’t worry if you open the booklet file and the pages seem out of order. In order to print as a booklet, this is required!)
Both of these files are available for free download here.
