Summer 2015 was an exciting time of transition for our family! And Fall 2015 is shaping up to be even more so with some new changes and resources headed your way.
New Home
This summer our family said goodbye to our Pittsburgh home and ministry center and said hello to Chattanooga, TN! While we already miss our community and church family, we are anxious to see why God moved us back to the land of monogrammed mason jars and sweet tea. Above all, we are eager to see how our new Southern home will impact our family’s desire to live on mission for Christ.
So far, we’ve enjoyed getting to know our new city, visiting churches, and exploring all Chatty has to offer. If you live in the Chattanooga area, I’d love to hear from you!
New Contributor
This summer I joined up with some global-minded ladies of the International Mission Board (SBC) as a contributor for their new resource site IMB Women. I’m joining a group of accomplished women who are fiercely committed to seeing all nations come to Christ. They are missionaries, ministers, authors, strategists, and everyday missional moms. Their stories and resources will equip and challenge you to do and be the same regardless of your vocation!
Here’s the site architect and women’s catalyst for the IMB, Lori McDaniel, sharing the vision behind the site:

New Discipleship Book
My biggest news for Fall 2015 is the publication of my new five-week Bible study, Crowned: Created For Glory, Called By His Name.
Crowned is the first of three books in a discipleship series; it gives women who lack a Christian worldview a sure foundation concerning their personal identity in Christ.
More than just a simple Bible study, Crowned is written in simple, reproducible terms to better help women become disciple makers. Next week, I’ll be unveiling all the bells and whistles embedded in this series and why it might be a good fit for your women’s ministry and/or small group.
You can expect some FUN GIVEAWAYS starting next week!
But for now, you can purchase the book via Amazon as a paperback or as an eBook for kindle.
Interested in previewing the book for free? I’ll email a PDF of the book to the first 5 ladies who leave a comments!

I enjoyed reading of your recent move and I hope it will be the beginning of a new journey for you and your ministry. You have an impressive series of Bible studies, and the new one Crowned seems like one I would be interested in. If possible I would like to preview it, as I do not have available funds to purchase any extras at present.
Thank you and God Bless

Hey Bev – this would be a great study for college girls. Truths that everyone needs to hear as they start life out on their own! Just emailed you a copy!
This sounds amazing, and even though I think I’m too late to get it free, I’m still checking it out! School mornings slowed me down!
If you don’t win “Crowned, Created for Glory, Called by His Name” then I would recommend you buy it! I enjoyed the refresher of God’s plan and purpose and found it to be very understandable to anyone. This is a great resource for study with those learning about God for the first time. It will also refresh and renew passion for sharing His plan and purpose with seasoned believers.
I might be too late, but I would love to preview your new book, Crowned. I’m thinking of doing this study with my high school girls!

Hey Melissa! Just saw this great news. I’m so happy for both announcements. Praise God! I can’t wait to read through your new Bible study. Miss you friend!
Hi Melissa,
I really love your site and found some great ideas to kick off our Fall Women on Missions group. Your new book series sounds just what I am looking for. I am wanting to start a bible study for women in my community by inviting them personally, through neighbors, word of mouth and Facebook. I want this to be a experience for those unchurched, churched and those just wanting to know how/why to defend their belief in Jesus Christ. I’m going to order a copy this week. :)+
Blessings,
Teresa Wood
