Let’s have a show of hands. Who loves hot chocolate?
My guys do.
So, we’ve been celebrating this Valentine’s Day by stirring up love throughout the week with homemade hot chocolate.
And since my little guys have enjoyed making some cups of love, I thought your family might too.
So, here’s my mom’s recipe for Homemade Hot Chocolate. (I’m not sure of the origin of this recipe. I think someone passed it along to her. If it was you, then, thank you for helping us stir up love!)
I usually add 1/3 cup of the mix to a mug of hot water. You can find sprinkles and heart marshmallows at Walmart or Target. Add a little whip cream and you’ve got a little cup of love to share.
This Saturday, I set up a hot chocolate bar for the women’s Bible study I host in my home, and it was a hit!
So, from our house to yours – Happy Valentine’s Day from Hive Resources!
More than any other thing or person, may you dwell in the never-ending love of our Savior this week! His love never fails.
“…that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Eph. 3:17-18
